ICT

The ICT Learning Area at Ysgol Y Rhos is committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences for all students. We believe in providing them with appropriate pace and challenge which fosters and enhances their learning.

We do this through:

  1. Setting high expectation for all our students
  2. Inspiring and motivating our students.
  3. Offering stimulating, diverse and engaging lessons.
  4. Enthusing and challenging all our students to think independently and creatively.

Strands and elements

The DCF sets out the digital skills to be attained by learners aged between 3 and 16 across four strands:

  • Citizenship
  • Interacting and collaborating
  • Producing
  • Data and computational thinking

Each strand is split into a number of elements, as shown below.
